We’re back with part two of “Making an Awesome Sunrise!” In this tutorial we finish up the sunrise with masks. This adds more realism to the scene my making the sun come up behind the ocean, instead of on top of it.

Ever wanted to film the sun coming up over the ocean with it’s brilliant orange and red sky? Well, now you can. This tutorial will show you how to make a sunrise using “light” and “lens flare” filters!

This is a cool technique I discovered while making a logo for myself. It’s a flicker out effect, like someone turned off an old TV, or a TV’s power got cut off, or something like that.

This is a great effect that can be used in time warp videos, or other videos where you want a different kind of motion-blur you can’t get using just a filter.
