Hi people! I’m back with a new and (I hope) simple tutorial. It’s maybe a little late for it, but nevertheless I will be showing you how to replicate the Batman “logo” on the posters for The Dark Knight. There are probably other tutorials out there covering this, I honestly haven’t searched. I just went ahead and created it and thought I’d post it here as a tutorial for everyone to read. Hope you like it. Now, let’s get to work.

Website improvements

We’ve got some website improvements for Tutorialsphere done in the past weeks, including:

• A new queue system which automatically posts the approved tutorials in order every hour
• Query optimization to improve the website loading times
• Squashed a few bugs (ongoing)
• Default thumbnails for each category (you don’t have to submit your own thumbnail anymore)
• Some minor tweaks

We are also working on implementing some new functionalities which we are very excited about. We’ll keep you posted as they are getting done

Web Video Player Skin

Hi everyone. Sorry for the hiatus in writing tutorials, I’ve just been real busy these past weeks and didn’t have time to sit down and write. Today I had a couple of free hours so I decided to write another tutorial. We’re going to learn how to create a skin for your web video player. This is just the design part which we will do in Photoshop. Perhaps it will be followed up by a Flash tutorial on how to implement this skin into an actual working player.
